PCS International (PCS) is excited to announce that it has been named the exclusive technology service, support, and maintenance service provider to all clients of RSM Computer Services (RSM).


Good morning! I have some exciting news that I would like to share with you regarding our future. On November 4, RSM Computer Services, Inc. agreed to be acquired by PCS International, headquartered in Inverness, Illinois. PCS is a premier IT Support and Services company that has been serving the greater Chicago area since 1986, led by their president, Ron Searle, whom I have come to respect and admire. Ron will be sharing his vision for your future, and what his staff can do to help you grow and add value to your company through bolstering and embracing technology, in the second part of this welcome letter.

Over the last 24 years of working together with your company, Sue and I have worked as a team, with our unique, but complimentary, God-gifted talents, as RSM Computer Services. Sue provided the administrative backbone and I worked on the front lines, interacting with you all, face-to-face and face-to-monitor! But fixing problems isn’t all that RSM was about; peripheral vision also was in play, often providing vision to seek opportunities to help you, your computer systems, network and other technology components, increasing your ease of use, improving staff productivity, increasing your company’s image and ultimately growing your bottom line. We shortened support response times by using remote support tools that have helped me watch, firsthand, those funky messages appear that could interrupt your workflow and productivity. These tools often gave me an advantage to choose the best and fastest path toward resolution of problems by improving the clarity of what is going on. Through quick-response and proper root-cause resolution, we gained your trust and grew your satisfaction with our services. No job was too small, as small problems could easily fester and grow into crises if left unaddressed. We handled the big jobs, too, it just took us a little longer than it would have had we been a bit larger. Along those lines, it is my hope that you would place technical competence and a staff of skilled professionals as top priorities on your list of qualities you would search for in your next IT Support company. That is why we believe that PCS International is the best match to continue the legacy that RSM started when your company first chose us to support you.

I will be staying on, under PCS International’s direction, through a transitional period into early 2021 to help pass the baton of understanding, communication and trust in your next support provider. Beginning this week, we would like to schedule and initiate a conference phone call, with video options if you are so inclined, to continue the conversation on transition and learning what and how PCS has in mind to support your company’s future. Let us work together to make this switch better for you and your company’s continued growth in capabilities, reputation and revenue.

Through that effort, we connected with RSM and, after extensive discussions with Bob & Sue Biegon, believe we are a good fit to take over servicing their customers so they can spend more time with their grandkids. Rest assured that Bob will remain available to assist PCS during this transition period should the need arise!

I would love to meet each and every one of you personally to introduce myself and my company, but during COVID that is just not possible. Through February 2021, I will be spending the majority of my time engineering solutions for local schools, so they can take advantage of limited time COVID Relief Federal Grants. This is a huge undertaking! Therefore, I have asked Mike Gordon (Senior Account Executive and part of the PCS International family for 18 years) to connect one-on-one with each of you over the coming weeks (virtually for safety) to get to know you, introduce the PCS family, and answer any questions. It is my hope that in 2021 I will also be able to meet you all! You never know, I might even hop on some of these early calls if my schedule allows! Rest assured you are in great hands with all of the PCS Family.
